The Campus Plan is SignUp's school-wide solution for K-12 volunteer management. It gives up to 150 teachers, staff, and parent leaders premium accounts under one shared plan, with unlimited participants and the tools schools actually need to coordinate events, track volunteer hours, and keep everyone organized.

How It Works: Three Roles

The Campus Plan is built around three clear roles so everyone knows exactly what they can do.

  • Plan Administrator: Manages the entire Campus Plan, accesses school-wide reports and messaging, and controls who has organizer access.
  • Plan Organizers: Teachers, staff, and parent leaders who activate their premium accounts using the school's unique 8-character License Code. Each organizer manages their own SignUps and can serve as a primary or assistant organizer.
  • Participants: Parents, volunteers, and students (ages 13+) who sign up for events. No SignUp account or password required.

Getting Started

Log in to SignUp.com, click Go Premium, and select the Campus Plan. You will receive a unique License Code to share with your authorized organizers — they use it to activate their premium accounts and get started. For larger schools, bulk upgrades are available by emailing a list of organizer addresses to support@signup.com.

A Tip for Better Participation

Rather than consolidating everything into one giant school calendar, use Group Pages to cluster related activities together — a "Fall Carnival Volunteers" Group Page, a "PTO Opportunities" page, an "Athletic Boosters" page. Parents respond better to specific, targeted requests than to one overwhelming hub. Focused pages drive better sign-up rates.
